Möllan - Logotype

Assignment done for Malmö University. The brief was to find a location we could physically travel to, gather as much information as possible in order to record the essence of the place. I chose Möllan in Malmö, a place full of diversity and a lively meeting place for Malmöiter from all cultures. The image features leading words, photography, colour palettes gathered from the photographs as well as initial design ideas.

On presentation day all my initial designs were deemed too culturally diverse by my teachers. So once following the directive of stripping the design of its essence and character the final result features a logotype based mainly on architectural aspects.
